Limone, Italy World Cup December 19, 2008

I made it into my first public bib draw the other day for our first PGS World Cup in Limone, Piemonte. I’m kind of hard to make out in the crowd but I’m number 14. It was a really cool experience, Limone puts on a really good event and a lot of people come out to see the bib draw. Unfortunately, I fell in my second qualifying run (finishing 26th) and couldn’t capitalize on my first start in the top 16. Race day was some of the worst conditions I’ve seen, it was supposed to snow close to 80 cm that day and I would say it got pretty close. On top of that, there was thunder and lightening during the snow storm. I’ve never seen that before in my life but we were only 45 min from the Mediterranean. Anyway, we are in Arosa, Switzerland now and have a World Cup Slalom race on Sunday the 21st. After that I head home to Mt. Shasta for Christmas then back to Europe on the 1st! Crazy, Crazy, Crazy!
