Are You Living It?

Live Your Passion was one of the sponsors for the Tri, Girl, Tri all-womens sprint triathlon this past Saturday in Napa county, CA.  I would share some pictures of our booth, but it was so cold and windy that Joe and I couldn’t set it up (it would’ve lifted off and landed in the lake).  We couldn’t display the shirts either because they kept blowing away.  In fact, we couldn’t even take our coats off for fear of hypothermia… so we ended up just looking like a couple of creepy guys wearing black jackets and handing out stickers (”hey kid, want some candy?”).

Oh well, you know what they say…  the best laid plans of mice and men. The winds were really gusty, so the organizers canceled the swim portion–which I’m sure was a relief for the many first-timers–and substituted it with a short run to start the race.  If this had been a men’s event this would have resulted in a bunch of grumping and complaining.  Instead, as you can see in the video below, the women just rolled with the punches and made the best of it.  It was pretty cold there, but you can see that everyone is having fun.  Nice job, ladies!
