Rollin’ on a River July 7, 2008
The holiday weekend was great. Couple solid bike outings (including a PR by two minutes on the Dry Fork Loop with pal Jason Hooten), a good run, a few bbq’s, plus some downtown fireworks. Capped it all off with a little bit of whitewater on the Animas yesterday with world famous river guide Sean Larmore and crew. Below are some shots of us trying to make the weekend last. Thanks to Laurel, Kasey, Amber, Jonesy, Christina, and of course Sean, for all the laughs (the term “stern” was used a few too many times) and the innumerable “safety briefings” for this river newbie.

Love it, James! Thanks for blogging our little adventure - we’ll have to get you on something at higher water sometime…oh, and remember to keep your mouth shut and your drink up when going thru rapids - that’s the most important thing when doing town run (did we remember to tell you that?)
