Live Your Passion:  So, it’s been a while.  We thought you might have died or something.
Laird Hamilton:  (looking at his watch)  You know, I’ve got like five minutes… maybe we could get to some real questions.  My guy is picking me up in five.
LYP:  Your guy?
LH:  (Nothing)
LYP:  Fine, no problem.  Who do you think would win in a fight, you or Gabrielle?
LH:  (Staring, increasing annoyance)
LYP:  Sorry.  Um, what would you recommend as the absolute best way for us to get in touch with Gabrielle?  Email?  Phone?  Text message?  Following her around hasn’t been working at all.
LH:  (Standing, cracking his knuckles.)
LYP:  Whoa!  It’s a joke!  God, you’re taller than you look on those paddle boards.  Look! I think your guy is here! … Wait! …. O-o-o-o-ouuuu.. o-o-o-o-o-uuuu!!!!!

Dear Laird,

FIrst of all, if you found this, we know that you’re Googling yourself.  Okay.  Cool.  Whatever.  Secondly, we freely admit that we never sat down with you for this interview.  It’s parody.  Like a joke, you know?  We parody (parodize? parodate?) things we actually think are cool.  Let’s get to the point:  We think you’re probably the coolest person on earth.  No kidding, we all share a major man-crush on you, especially Shawn.  So if this has in any way perturbed you, we ask for your forgiveness and promise to remove this post at your request, or the request of “your guy.”  Either way, we’ll pull it down if you want us to.  We like you.
