My Belgian mechanic has informed me that there is a quote in the Begian magazine, ” P-Mag” from my website and Cycling News article from last month. P-magazine is a version of the Maxim Magazine. I thought that it was pretty funny that I have made the Belgian Soft porn P-Magazine. That is big time eh?

50 minute run as per Janda, spiced up, as per me:
10 warmup with strides.
3×1 mile at low-end tempo (starts at high-end SS), 7.8 on dreadmill
3 min recovery between all
finish out 50 minutes at extensive pace (about 10 minutes).
Leaves you feeling tired and good, not toasted.

So here’s the basis of my next tatoo…on my right outside hip. It’s the Manx triskelion, which they use on their flag and coat of arms (Manx = Isle of Man where much of my family originates). Not only is it a piece of my heritage, but I think it’s cool because it’s a triad, like my sport, and it is a symbol of running. Of course you know I’m going to turn the outside circle into a wheel…it’s much too tempting, and then I get my biking in too. As for swimming…you’ll have to wait and see
