We headed down South to Brownsville this weekend to celebrate Coleman’s 5th birthday. It’s been a weekend filled with laughter, tears and lots of joy. Coleman is the most loving little boy and it is always a blast hanging out with his sweet little soul. Then there’s LadyBug who as I type this is saying “Deenny, denny denny denny” and swinging back and forth on the bed next to the computer. Children are so healing on the soul.

Update and a New Zealand pic October 1, 2008

I’m at home in Mt. Shasta today for the first time in over a month and it feels great! Coming home for a few days is therapy for my soul. It’s a good way to relax and recharge before my trip to the Netherlands next week for the first World Cup of the season. I fly to Amsterdam on Wednesday and will begin training on snow on the 3rd. It will only be indoors, as it does not snow in the Netherlands, but I’m excited to get back to it after a successful training session in New Zealand a few weeks ago.

Places I promise to visit… August 23, 2008

I have never been to France or Italy… here are some amazing photos of key places I vow to visit one day. When my life is more stable I hope to travel the world, explore new lands and cultures… preferably by bike.
