Fortune Teller August 28, 2008
On the heels of scheduling my 1pm MRI to learn whether I, in fact, have a sequestered disk (like a herniated disk kind of) as the Docs now suspect is causing me all this pain and now weakness in my left leg, and after starting to cry in my husband’s arms, my daughter morgan walked up to me and handed me her fortune cookie saying it would make me feel better. I opened it up, and no joke, with my husband as my witness, this is what it said:
“Everyone around you is rooting for you. Don’t give up.”
I totally burst into even bigger tears.
Better play these numbers Amanda…1, 11, 12, 13, 20, 36

How great would the world be if there were thousands of billboards on the roads saying exactly the same thing?
Dude - isn’t that a huge message to get just when you need it? Just tear down all the emaciated models plugging tiny clothes made by orphans in the third world and put up huge inspirational quotes…I think you are on to something
Speaking of inspirational, your starvation mountain post was AWESOME…
